Who am I?

Hello! I am Eleanor and the term "frolics" has become unavoidably connected to my name as I continue my creative journey. I started using the term when I was travelling to describe my feelings of liberty, elation, happiness, curiosity and adventure. Then I bought myself a camera...

I have been interested in photography, capturing the world and creating since I was about 9 years old. Investing in my own camera at the start of 2024 allowed me to more frequently interact with the world through a lens and unlocked a door in myself that had been waiting to be opened for a long time. Beginning to share my photos then opened my love for words, as I tried to invite people to understand my feelings when taking and presenting my work. Aaaand here we are!
I now associate "frolics" with my work, as I think it conveys how I feel when I tap into my creativity or have my camera in hand. My work attempts to convey a story or an emotion, as I want to encourage us as complex beings to more frequently interact deeply. I feel we do not notice or find value in the smaller things enough. My lens has encouraged me to do this. So I hope that maybe some of my work will inspire other people to interact more intimately with their surroundings or connect with the people around them either directly or from afar. I hope you enjoy your stay! :)
